  I have not only worked in a few nursing homes but I've also been in many with both my parents. When we transferred my father out of one after being threatened by a staff member he was brought to Covington and it was like finding family. He was treated so well at this facility by everyone we came in contact with. Those who work in the therapy department are top of the line. You will not find a better and more dedicated group of people than you will right here. For the rest of the facility everyone from the nurses, aids, kitchen, activities, the house keeper's, janitors,office staff I mean EVERY ONE treated him with respect and dignity and kindness and he received the very best care. The place is always clean and always smells fresh and as family members we never left there one time worried that our father wouldn't be well cared for. I will always recommend this place above all others

  I would give negative stars if I could! My mother is there for rehab. Her first night there they refused to give her pain meds and even insulin and they haven't properly managed either since. They are not helping my mother to the bathroom although they are supposed to, which had led to my mother soiling herself twice! She has large incisions from surgery that have now been contaminated. They haven't changed her linens and hid her call button in the dresser drawer. Do NOT take your loved ones to this facility. I am seeking legal consult, not to mention calling the state.
